A website called - NDP Watch- was announced on the John Gormley radio talk show the other morning. I am unsure if John Gormley is connected with the website, but the way it was announced was just a bit too convenient to be a coincidence. John Gormley's fond political sympathies with the Saskatchewan party are well known but maybe it was just a case of one of the blog's authors using his moment on John Gormley to plug their new page.
But more interesting is the content of the new website which has numerous clues as to the connection between the site owners and staff of the Saskatchewan party.
On the new site, there is a constant reference to "we". The writers repeatedly use phrases such as "we know" or "we have information" etc. Most blogs are an individual effort but not NDP Watch. It is clearly a team effort to attack the opposition NDP party.
What else? Well a recent photo on National Newswatch showing a sleeping Saskatchewan party MLA was immediately referenced by the websites angry writers who were more than familiar with the seating plan of the legislature and what they claim are the rules of the Legislative building. There is no doubt that the owner or owners of the site are either staff in Mr. Wall's premier's office or they are staff to a Saskatchewan party cabinet minister. They claim that I wrote something extremely inflammatory on their site but they deleted it. ??? So even though they claim that what has upset them is now deleted, they were still able to get John Gormley to make it the center of his radio program. An entire mornings show over a statement that was erased by the very people it supposedly upset???
It is a moving target with these people. The desperation they are showing in trying to make political hay over something they say was written on their site but then deleted, makes me assume that they are either insane or politically panicked.
I am quite curious as to who they are and am positive that your tax dollars are paying their salary while they blog pro-Saskatchewan party propaganda.
Once this can be determined I will pass the information along to the proper authorities who will likely want to investigate further.
